Potion Treasure chest!

While battling monsters I suddenly come across a 'Potion Treasure chest' which came by surprise however it was a good surprise as it provided me with much needed potions which i now do not have to go and buy.

Failure...

After battling the 'Owl' for a second time i failed to beat him. A lack of preparation on my part was the fault. It would have been more useful if I was able to purchase items while on the move too. Fortunately after death the Grim Reaper provided me with a second chance sending me back to the Battleon village. I must admit that the interface for the Battlon village is a little confusing as there are so many options, it would be much more useful if the creators could refine the hyperlinks down more so that there are fewer options to select from. On the other hand after begining to battle some more monsters post an epic failure I leveled up to LEVEL 3!!

All of the monsters that i am battling are very creative and certainly original, e.g. 'FlibbityGibbit'. being able to battle monsters from the main menu at the Battlon village is useful for practice purposes.

First Impressions

After begining to play I was welcomed by Artix who i asumed was probably the towns lead. The graphics of the game are not able to compete with some of the games which exist out there however the graphics do suit the type of game Adventure Quest is. I thought that the introductory phase at the begining of the game to the town and then the first battle as well as meating some of the towns people who also explain things to me can become confusing. Digesting so much information at a quick rate the user may not remember everything, allthough the fact that the option to continue when the user is ready is useful to slow learners such as myself.

Purchasing Items

Purchasing things from the shop seems easy enough and proves to be too. Although it was a little confusing as i did not know how to find out how much money, ''gold'', i had to spend.

Adventure Quest Character Selection

The process to select the character on Adventure questi to begin with provides few options. Allthough the simple options make it quicker to complete. I would imagine that more options will be available later on during the game. I was also asked to choose from being a "Fighter, Mage or Rogue". This selection reflects the users personality in soem ways. Just like selecting what the character will look like. The game is made more personal. Once a character has been created the user can begin playing the game. The user also has the option to create more than one character profile.

Adventure Quest Sign Up Process

The process of signing up did not take too long, however the fact that the user has to memorise a 4 digit number can be seen as a task to which some users may find daunting. Also when entering the password, instead of the usual star character the letters show up on the second re-entry of the password which is pretty useless as the game suggests that the user should never reveal their password to anybody, but here it is, the password revealed to anyone looking at the computer display screen!
